Learning Outcomes and Application This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to evaluate, implement and monitor high risk trade waste discharge approvals.It includes managing trade waste approvals from large and complex industrial organisations. It also includes adhering to legislation, regulations, industry standards and workplace procedures. This unit applies to those working as trade waste officers or inspectors with the responsibility for managing applications and approvals for high risk liquid trade waste discharges to wastewater collection systems. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously while performing sophisticated tasks in a range of familiar contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to unit at the time of publication.
